"If you are going to rely on someone else to take care of you
in an emergency situation you’re most likely
going to be sorely disappointed"!
Mountain Prepper Expos has a philosophy that if each and every one of us becomes prepared enough to survive any major disruptions in our lives the aftermath of just about any catastrophe will be much easier to deal with.
The government simply does not have the resources to take care of everyone. Every single person who has had the wherewithal to do some planning and make some basic preparations is one less person that needs to be taken care of by the government and one more person who can protect, defend and provide for his family in a crisis situation!
We also believe that rather than taking our Expo from city to city, we would focus on returning to the same venue/s year after year, build an annual, regional event and do it on the same weekend each year.
In Sevierville, TN that would be the weekend between Mothers Day and Memorial Day. This allows word to spread year after year and for Preppers to plan ahead and come from hundreds of miles in all directions to stock up on their needs, learn more and compare notes with fellow Preppers.
We can not save the world but we can have a huge impact on the lives of those throughout the Southern Appalachians and nearby areas. We live here too! Wouldn’t it be nice if our entire region was prepared enough to take total and complete care of ourselves from security to food production, medical treatments, water purification etc regardless of the situation? We would be the envy of the nation for sure!
The moment that you enter the Expo you will find it to be one of the friendliest environments you have ever been in. Whether you are just getting started or a seasoned “Prepper” (one who prepares) everyone is there to educate you as well as each others on surviving the unexpected.
Prepping is a lifestyle and one that none of us is ever fully prepared for. Even those who have been preparing for years learn something everyday and especially at an Expo like this.
Why? Because there is no way in the world that you will find the massive array of products, selection and knowledge assembled under one roof other than at a Prepper Expo. Your local prepper store may be top notch and well stocked but no business will have the kinds of professionals, new ideas, information and products that you will find at a Mountain Prepper Expo!
Prepping goes well beyond the obvious too! It’s also about eating healthy, learning how our food chain has been compromised and corrupted. It’s about building better homes and improving existing ones, being self-sufficient and self-reliant, learning various basic skills like emergency medical treatment, canning, growing gardens without commercial fertilizers and sprays, growing better and healthier foods, learning alternative health treatments and so much more!
Taking care of yourself and the body God gave you is “prepping” for the inevitable ageing process and living a healthier, happier and longer life. Making a better world and helping each other is why we are here.
Throughout human history an endless stream of calamities has struck mankind. Only a fool truly believes that “its different time” or that it will not happen again. Even our government, our military, our leaders prepare.
You buy health insurance (even in the days that the government didn’t make you), you buy car and home insurance etc. Doesn’t it just make sense to prepare for that huge storm, earthquake, civil unrest, EMP or nuclear attack, epidemic, pandemic, war or terrorist attack just to name a few?
We search the entire country to bring you the best Exhibitors, the best and latest products and information and the best speakers offering FREE classes as well as some hands on workshops. So come visit us and see for yourself that we are not crazy nut-jobs as some like to portray.
We are everyday folks; carpenters, businessmen, bankers, doctors, lawyers, mechanics, employees and people just like you who are deeply concerned about the realities facing our country and the world.
You owe it to yourself and your family to prepare. It is YOUR responsibility, please don’t take it lightly!
See you in May?
